Çengelköy-born roaster, now six Istanbul shops and a wholesale arm.

It started in Çengelköy in 2019 and has since opened at Torun Center, Bomonti, and Astoria in Şişli, and in Kayaşehir and Bahçeşehir.

Filter coffees range from El Salvador El Cerro to Ethiopia Bombe Qonqana, with limited seasonal lots alongside, and the online shop sells Turkish coffee and brewing equipment. Newtown also offers wholesale supply and franchising.

At this shop

On Çengeloğlu Sokak in Çengelköy, on the Asian shore of the Bosphorus, black-framed glass doors open onto a row of pavement tables under a black awning. A rooftop terrace above looks straight across the water to the lit Bosphorus Bridge, with retail coffee bags lined on shelving just inside the ground-floor door.
