Around 50 coffee shops also take its coffee. Cumhur Kılıç named the brand after the Italian word for sword, a play on his Turkish surname, opened the first shop in Teşvikiye in 2016, and began roasting the following year. Five locations now run from Teşvikiye and Fişekhane to Suadiye, Caddebostan, and the Bakırköy headquarters.
Espas Mimarlık designed that headquarters in 2024: a 5,300-square-foot roastery built for 40 tonnes a month, with a training centre, a cupping room, and a coffee bar, laid out so café visitors can see the production floor.
